Peter Fraser has a background in software development and business consultancy, especially in the area of business process management. After a career in commercial software systems development, he spent six years as a Managing Consultant with KPMG before founding his own company Mandos Software, and later Process Principles, where he published a number of articles. He wrote “Dee the Business” (now out of print) a few years ago, a Doric view of business and IT management (Doric is the dialect of the North East of Scotland), and most recently published a book of his uncle’s letters home from Gallipoli in WW1. He is a Life Member of the British Computer Society.
He is a former captain of Gordonian RFC, was a regular competitor in the Highland Cross charity biathlon and is a member of the Order of St John following many years supporting Aberdeen Mountain Rescue. Peter and his wife Marion (nee van de Scheur) live in Aberdeen and have 3 grown up children.
