| 5 Caain awa | Working away slowly |
| 6 Aye knypin oan | Still working away |
| 7 Fair tae middlin | Not too bad |
| 8 Weerin awa | Wearing on |
| 9 Jist aboot deen | Just about finished |
| 10 We’re lowsed noo. | We are finished now (as in “loosened from harness”). |
